BIT OF TRIVIA
For all you history buffs I have compiled a list of Cowichan's BC Champions over the years. I got most of the information from the plaques in the clubhouse and some old minutes. If you believe I have missed anything or have something out of whack, please fell free to e-mail me at fireguy627@hotmail.com. The 2nd Div Men is now the 1st Div men and I know there is a cup for that championship if anyone knows it. We were in the Rounsefell Cup Premier Championship in 1993 I believe but lost to UBC Old Boys 9-3. Not sure is the 2nd team had another BC Championship year. Also have a picture of Cowichan's Bantam team in 1934-35 which says Bantam Champions? We were also in the 1st Div Championship final in 2004 but lost to UBC.
I have received some updates for the Junior BC Board so I think I will ahead and engrave it.
