U18 Girls are BC ChampsCowichan RFC 22 vs United RFC 5
It was a great game! United RFC, led by their tremendous #8 and physical pack, were up 5-0 at the half. Cowichan came back in the second half with 22 unanswered points to take their 2nd BC Championship in 3 years in this division.
Cowichan was led by #13 Cassey Stevens who scored 3 trys. United's #8 and Cowichan's #13 Stevens were named Game MVP's.
Christmas Festivities
Just a reminder to everyone that Christmas is arriving this Thursday at Piggie Park. Come on out for a run around followed by a warm dinner, decorating and seasonal beverages! Don't forget your Christmas sweater!
This Thursday is, of course, a warm up for our Annual Christmas Party on Saturday, December 5th starting at 7:00pm. Don't forget that if you bring a minimum of five non-perishables for the local food bank you receive one drink ticket for free!
Delicious appetizers will be served and a chance to win our Giant Mystery Stocking!!! Tickets are $5.00 and are available from Carolyn Gudmundseth: cdspidell@hotmail.com

ALL ORDERS NEED TO BE PREPAID AND WILL BE TAKEN ON THURSDAY NIGHT AT THE CHRISTMAS SWEATER/TREE DECORATING PARTY on Dec. 3.
May Geach/ Rhonda Grantham will be there between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm to take orders and the money that night.

Pick up your orders at 6409 Finlay Place ( Geach resident) on:
* Dec 8 between 5 pm and 8 pm
* Dec 9 and 10th: during the day until 8 pm
Work party at Geach's on Dec 7, 2009 at 6:30 pm. How long this will be will depend on how long it takes to fill the prepaid orders. Here's your chance to learn how to make them!!!
