A Mssage to Cowichan Men's Rugby Players
The club has started training for 2010 and would welcome players to come out for the Spring season!
We offer 3 levels of rugby:
3rd Div Men: Recreational entry level rugby that plays games on the Island on Sundays at 1:00pm
1st Div Men: 2nd Tier rugby that plays games on the Island and 3 games on the mainland on Saturdays at 1:00pm
Premier Men: Competitive Top Tier rugby that plays games on the Island and 3 games on the mainland on Saturdays at 2:45pm
Training for all three teams are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm at the club. We have had two sessions already and the numbers need to increase.
*3rd Div Men are encouraged to come for both sessions.
The 1st Div and Premier Men have a lighter schedule than last year. We travel to the mainland only three times (last year it was 4) and we play seemingly weaker clubs while over there.

March 6th: Away vs UBC Old Boys Ravens
March 13th: Home vs UBC Thunderbirds
March 20th: Home vs Capilano RFC
March 27th: Away vs Castaway Wanderers RFC
April 3rd: Make up weekend
April 10th: Away vs Vancouver Rowing Club
April 17th: Home vs Velox RFC
April 24th: Away vs Bayside Sharks
BCRU 7-aside Summer Rugby Circuit
Cowichan Rugby Club has been awarded the hosting of the Finals Tounament for the BC 7's summer rugby curcuit. The BCRU 7's Summer Circuit will consist of a number of tournaments around BC and teams will collect points at these tournaments leading toward the the final tournament @ Cowichan RFC.
The dates are Saturday September 4 to the 5th.
Angie will be looking for a number of volunteers for this event and will be holding the first meeting Tuesday January 18th.
