JUNIOR GIRLS

The club will once again run a U-18 Girls Program. Below is a message to players and those interested in the U-18 Girls Program

Hello Ladies and Gent's;

Well it is that time of year again (approaching the end of summer holiday%u2019s and yes the beginning of the Club U18 season). I truly hope that you have had a relaxing and enjoyable summer break (I know that I have and am still currently having). One of the highlights of the summer thus far is the Silver Medal finish for the Tide U17 girls%u2019 7%u2019s team at the BC Summer Games.

After watching all of you play either at the High School BC%u2019s or during the BC Summer games, I am truly excited to begin this years Club U18 season. I know that some of you will have some conflicts, but if you can play I would love to have you on the team (we can often work through some of these conflicts, so please do not hesitate to contact me).

Well in terms of the Club season. We will begin practices on Thursday September 2, 2010 and will continue every Tuesday and Thursday following this. We will be practicing at the Cowichan Rugby Club on Herd Road from 4:00-5:30pm on practice days. Games will be on Sunday%u2019s starting at the end of September and continuing until the end of November or the beginning of December. Our games are usually at 11:30am either at the Rugby Club or at another rugby club (usually on the Mainland). I am not sure what the rugby club dues are for this year, but I would guess that they are around $175 (this includes your insurance for the remainder of the year).

Well I hope that this finds you all well and that you will be able to attend the first practice. If you are unable to attend the first practice could you please contact me to let me know that you are interested in playing.

Also BC U17 Players, I would love to have you at the first practice if you are available, but I am going to ask that you not participate. You need some time off from rugby and we all know that you are fit and ready (if you have a concern, please call me and we can chat).

Hope to see you all on Thursday September 2, 2010.
